We live in the Welsh hills in the beautiful Ceiriog Valley in the Berwyn Mountains, in an old farmhouse. I have always adored cats and have been breeding Siamese and Orientals for more than twenty years. We have a small cattery where the cats are all members of the family, my husband always says they have more rights than he does, which is probably true!

Kittens are usually born in our bedroom, where they stay for about three weeks, then they come downstairs, starting off in the kitchen in front of the Rayburn on a sheepskin rug, from there they invade the rest of the house. Temperament is so important, and well socialized kittens make happy well adjusted cats.

We breed for type, health and temperment and strive towards that look that we love, but it is very difficult when balancing all these elements together, especially when coat pattern and length is taken into consideration, I am not fussy about the colour, I think it would be impossible if I added colour into the equation as well.

Our next aims are to breed white Balinese, a project that keeps alluding us, and to improve the silver shading in the Oriental Longhairs.
